The fox has special meaning for Ponca City. E.W. Marland brought foxes to Ponca City for his friends and business associates to participate in fox hunting. Over the past 100 years the community has viewed the unique animal as an identifier for Ponca City. City Arts created the Fox Project to promote the appreciation for visual arts in our community, as well as giving artists the opportunity to showcase their art in a unique way.
